"Since I was a little girl, I remember when the workers at the farm
used this "kind of material in a shape of ball", to hold and align
the branches of the fruit trees to espalier. I always felt so curious about
that.
After so many
years, remembering those times, it cames to my mind the idea to work on a
collection inspired in that experience of my childhood.
Investigating about the meanings of the Patagonian textile symbology, I found out that the" vertical lines", represents the nature trails that transcends life, with imperfect edges as geographic or cosmic accidents. Then... it comes "itself"... a particular collection by using the remnants of fabric selvedges threads, and above the idea of the Line as the main element of construction.
Same line, same material, that folds on itself as roads, forming reliefs and volumes, inside and voids that leads to something new... something infinity."
